POSITION DESCRIPTION

Teaching Trust is seeking a temporary part-time Office Manager to manage key administrative and operational components of the Teaching Trust office. The Office Manager will be responsible for the overall front office activities, including the reception area, supplies, and facilities.

This position is located in Dallas, TX and is available immediately.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Inventory, order, and stock office supplies on an ongoing basis
  • Run financial reports and coordinate check signing
  • Manage the reception area to ensure effective telephone and mail communications both internally and externally to maintain professional image
  • Ensure facilities are clean, organized, and safe
  • Providing arrangements for office meetings
  • Work with vendors as needed
  • Attend training and regular check ins with Teaching Trust staff to update on progress
  • Plan and execute events/activities as needed

Position Qualifications

  • One to two years experience managing key operational tasks
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
  • Computer proficiency, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and internet tools
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
  • Proactive and resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
  • Ability to be present in office during normal work hours for at least 10 hours per week (normal work hours are 9am - 5pm Monday through Friday)

TIME COMMITMENT

Average of 10 - 15 hours per week.

COMPENSATION

This position offers competitive compensation at a rate of $30 - $35 per hour.
